Two Birds One Stone - SAINT HELENA

The food was outstanding. The chicken pot pie, the ribs, the mac’n’cheese, broccolini, the tuna and, a highlight for us was the kale salad. The drinks were very good. Can be a bit pricey for everyday dining. However, it is certainly a place we’ll come back to try other menu items. Very friendly staff as well.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at this barbecue restaurant. We came on a whim as a group of four, two couples, and were pleased with the excellent service. The food was good to very good, with generous portion sizes and delicious flavors. The brisket stood out as quite good, with a nice hint of smoke that wasn't overpowering. All the meats had a pleasant smokiness to them. The cornbread, served in a small skillet, was tasty but could use a larger size and more of a skillet crust. The flavors were solid overall. One odd thing we noticed was that condiments were served in plastic throwaway holders, which we felt should be changed. Despite this, we would definitely return to this decent barbecue restaurant with very good service, a nice atmosphere, and reasonable prices.

Roadhouse 29 gets it right. My fiancé and I loved everything about our experience. Highly recommended.

Beautiful surroundings, great live music. The hamburger was quite average, shrimp tacos were excellent, but not this filling. Not the tip as part of the bill was refreshing
