Bidrage med feedbackHave visited this restaurant a couple of times over the years and the food and service has always been excellent. Visiting the Chablis region this lweek decided to drop in for lunch. This little restaurant has just got better and better, had the starter of salad with poached egg and fried lardons, followed by lamb braised for seven hours on a bed of beans. My partner followed his with what he claims is the best pear crumble ever! Damien was attentive whilst unobtrusive making sure everything was to our liking. Thoroughly recommend a visit if in the region (about a 20 minute drive from Chablis) you will not be disappointed.
Domaine Gueguen We arrived in Burgundy after a long flight from SFO and a several hour drive from CDG to a warm welcome in PREHY at a lovely stone house
This is a Domaine in Chablis that in a few more years may become one of the best producers of Chablis wines out there. First I have to say that out of all
When we are in Saint Bris buying wine, this restaurant is just up the road from where we buy, but we haven't noticed anywhere else in the village to eat, but then we would always go there anyway. It is a real joy and part of our experience of the day buying wine. The cheapest of the menus (just over 20 Euros) gives good variety to chose from and the food is well served, tasty and reflects local produce, for example ham in a sauce made with Chablis wine, or cherries with ice cream and Ratafia. Sometimes there are surprises, such as a serving of creamed risotto rice with the fish. The wines are of course local. The service is highly professional and efficient. Customers are told exactly what everything is, and there is huge pride in the detail. This restaurant is not expensive and a little gem in this beautiful area.
