Romano's On St Augustine Beach

I thought I would try this Romanos rather than the one on the mainland because that one never gets my pizza order right. I always order extra cheese and I have yet to get extra cheese even though I pay for it. I have complained until I’m blue in the face and I just won’t go there any longer. I gave Romanos on the beach a chance and ordered the usual with extra cheese. There was no extra cheese, so I guess the training is the same even though as I understand owners are different. It’s really disappointing when you pay for something and you really don’t get it. I had to doctor the pizza up as usual at home and put some mozzarella on it but it ruins the experience, and covers up the other condiments. Very disappointing. I will keep on searching for a pizza place that will give me extra cheese.

Javon has made Romano's on the Beach even better than it was before.Sure, the pizza is always the very best pie on the island if not the whole town of greater St Augustine. Chewy crust. Fresh tasting sauce. The pizza is as good or better than before.Staff seems to have some new people and some I recognized from before. Very positive and helpful. Competent, easy going vibe.The interior has been completely updated functionally and visually. Seems like a great family event pizzeria.Great people here. Go Jags!

Best pizza on the island and fast and friendly service

St Augustine Beach- WORST pizza we ever ate! Crust near burnt, toppings were not cooked so they were runny and had no Italian flavor.

Ordered meatball subs and they were the best we've had anywhere in the country. The folks that took over this business really know how to make you feel important and their command of italian cooking is amazing. You can tell the difference!
