Publico - Saint Albans

Great execution of delicious Latin American foods, all smoked and cooked on a white oak grill heart. the arepas are our favorites! we had them for a starter, then ordered more for dessert after an excellent dinner. I'm sorry that our last unforgettable food will be at publico. unfortunately it is closed on 22 December.

Great place to dinner, meet friends, etc. eating is unusually good and surprising in a very good way - so many fresh foods and such a creative approach to the aromes. it's too bad it's going to end. one of my favorite restaurants in st. louis.

It was fine nothing was actually bad...but nothing was great either

We love Publico and are so sad that it is closing. The restaurant scene in St. Louis is very competitive, but this has always been our favorite Loop restaurant!

Sadly this place will close in Dec 2018, so get there while you can. It was fabulous. Food, service, everything. I hate Brussel sprouts, until you’ve had theirs. It’s expensive. Our bill for 3 was $198 but we ate and drank. Worth every penny—and comparable to high end places in NYC and Chicago. But if you are a foodie, this is one not to miss before it’s gone.
