Bidrage med feedbackBeen coming here for atleast 25 years. Food has been consistently great and service fast. Food is way better when you eat there. Getting it delivered definately takes away from the taste with certain dishes getting soggy and steam saturated. Great food and definately reccomend.
I can't handle onions nor shellfish and they made all my items fresh just for me. The wait was definitely worth the ability to digest my food without any allegic reactions, and all 8 dishes ordered were absolutely perfect! Vegetarian options: You can modify dishes so that you don't have to worry about specific ingredients, and even make a vegetarian version of some non-vegetarian dishes... for the meat price or sometimes a little bit extra, in the case of tofu substitution. Dietary restrictions: You can modify dishes so that you don't have to worry about specific ingredients, and even ask them to please make a particular meal with dishes cleaned specifically for this meal and all methods available to avoid cross-contamination, but if you do not have your EPI pen or other mitigation efforts ready, you should always stay on the safe side.I, however, have NEVER had any problems with this establishment whenever I was avoiding peanuts, shellfish, onions, nightshades, etc. Parking: There are about 8 spots directly outside the particular storefront but many, many more spots in the parking lot. Only on Christmas Day did I have to wait 7 minutes to get a parking spot. Kid-friendliness: The environment is good without super loud music, and babies can even sleep if the other children aren't too loud. Wheelchair accessibility: Wheelchair accessible sidewalk and door, but a narrow bathroom with accessibility features.
Wanted hot sour soup and this is close to home. We ordered a few of our favorites. The soup is bland and needs more vinegar. Really enjoyed the pork fried rice. The flavor of the orange chicken is good, but soggy texture. Egg rolls are disappointing. They're more like tempura Chinese burritos. Way too big, didn't even bother eating one. Sweet sour pork is good. Disappointed to find out the pork buns aren't filled with BBQ Pork. There are other Chinese restaurants in the area with better food.
Decided to give it one more chance, the fried shrimp like biting into a dough ball and shrimp was dry, not much flavor in others food i order, sorry cant do it
*This review is for dine in service only as we haven’t ever really done take out or any of the delivery services.I've been meaning to write this review for Pearl River Restaurant and Lounge for quite some time now. This place holds a special spot in our family's history, as we used to dine here when I was growing up. Today, it's run by one of the sons of the original owners, it’s a lovely and friendly family. When it comes to the food, there are certain dishes that truly make the experience worthwhile for me: their war wonton soup, salt and pepper chicken wings, XO beef, chicken lettuce wraps, and if you're in the mood for noodles, their combo skinny noodles is great. These are the dishes we consistently order because they're consistently done right. While there may be other items on the menu that other people may like, we know what works for us, and we stick to it. Whenever I recommend this place to friends, I make sure to suggest these same dishes, and they've typically been quite pleased. The bar and lounge area, which recently underwent remodeling, has expanded to a circular bar, allowing customers to enjoy sports while dining in the restaurant, whereas previously there was a large dividing wall. I appreciate the remodeling, as it presents an opportunity for livelier evening gatherings. However, what truly sets this place apart is the sense of familiarity if you're a regular, everyone knows your name and preference. The service consistently maintains a high level of cordiality and attentiveness, with a genuinely nice staff.
