Bidrage med feedbackI love this place, it has a home like feeling. the food is delicious and the location is right in front of the main road in tzfat. the menu is a little seasonal, so they enjoy what is fresh:
The Happy Cow ratings were low, but Trip Advisor ratings were much better. We really liked the food and comfortable atmosphere. I had the veggie burger with incredibly fresh and tasty bread. The burger was rich in veggies including beets. My husband had a corn tortilla quesadilla full of beans, cheese and veggies. Both came with a side salad with a lovely dressing on the side. We had the fruit soy milk shake and lemonade with mint. Yum! The gluten free cookies were soft and chewy. Rare in gluten free baked goods. Service was good. Worth a visit!
While it is true that kosher dairy restaurants are great for vegetarians, they are not so great for vegans so I was happy to find this place. The veggie burger was excellent accompanied by an ok salad iceberg lettuce which is actually not very common in Israel (happily). The lassie was a bit too sweet but still tasty. The restaurant has a very good menu and the owner offered any modifications I might want.
We were excited to find a veg place far from the urban areas. But no. You have to understand that Kosher food considers eggs and fish dairy so if a restaurant is not vegan, you may find these things. And this place has tuna on the menu. Desserts all have eggs in them. The meals are too expensive for what they are. It didn 't look very clean back there with hand-washed dishes and pans piled up. Even so, I might not have been so pissed off if the older lady hadn 't been so rude. I stood at the counter forEVER as she did little mundane tasks and instructed her employee and refused to answer simple questions like how much is the burger? (the sign had no prices) On the menu, a dish was 48 nis. For some quinoa at an outdoor stand? Ridiculous. We ate at a great falafel place with a blue awning across the plaza for 15nis and the guy was super nice. Updated from previous review on Sunday May 11, 2014
This restaurant is not vegetarian because they serve tuna. It 's not a nice place, expensive for the food providing and the guy is very indiscrete. Also there is no toilets ...
