Texas West BBQ - Sacramento

This is better bbq than most restraunts. It's so hard to find a bbq place that cares about their bbq.

I will start by saying that I haven't tasted all they have to offer. But from what I did order, there is only one thing that will have me come back and that's the peach cobbler with the ice cream 10/10. Fantastic! Best peach cobbler i've ever had. The ice cream was amazing. I also ordered the brisket and the tri-tip I was very disappointed 2/10. The meat was very bland, really lacked seasoning and flavor. The BBQ sauce was not by any means my favorite 0/10. I had high hopes for this place. Maybe they just had a bad day or the cook was out sick. I don't know but all I can say is, that if you eat here make sure you buy the peach cobbler and ice cream you will not be disappointed. I have given a 3 star rating because this is a bbq spot, and the bbq should have been the star of the show but the peach cobbler beat it by leaps and bounds.

Tik tok sent me. I'm a sucker for massive baked potatoes. The ribs were absolutely delicious. Will return for sure. Also! They have the games on so you don't have to miss anything while ur getting lunch on Sunday.

Best brisket I've eaten in Sac. The sandwich had a generous portion of meat and their house BBQ sauce is an excellent balance between sweet and spicy. The apple slaw wasn't bad. It could use more color and flavor. The banana pudding is very good, but a bit overpriced for the portion received. I look forward to trying some of their other meat options!
