Railroad Fish Chips - Sacramento

This is a favorite local restaurant for my Partner and I to eat at every month. A short walk from our apartment and great food and atmosphere!

Overall it wasn't that bad, FOOD was okay, very salty. SERVICE was okay, a lot of people expected to be slow. ATMOSPHERE was the BEST! Especially in winter (beginning of December) all the lights and Christmas scene!

Had a hamburger and fries. They were good and my order came fast. The fries were crinkle cut, which were pretty good. The burger was okay, oddly they do not have pickles. But for what it is and cost, it was just fine. The area is sketchy, not the restaurants fault, but it had some people there that seemed to be suffering some mental health issues.

I had clam chowder and fish and chips it was good but I didn't really care for the chowder wish it was more fresh maybe the flavor was missing something it just wasn't for me.

A small business that operates as self-service. A place specializing in fish and chips and burgers. The french fries are good.
