Java Lounge - Sacramento

The plantains are my favorite part of this dish. Theyre quite simple, fried plantains but refreshing because we rarely get plantains in Sacramento. The rest of the food was fresh and delicious also. Whole spiced beans, seasoned rice, and pernil pulled pork. I have nothing to compare to because Ive never had Puerto Rican Special food before but I loved it. Not spicy, perfectly savory, well cooked.

OMG! The salmon cakes were OUT OF THIS WORLD! And were probably my favorite. The Chorizo Mac is so perfectly cheesey with chorizo in every bite. And approved by both kids. The burrito bowl was delicious! Their beans are pretty special/different and delicious. My youngest son ate almost the whole burrito bowl and loved it! Still awaiting a review on the Burria tacos and chicken tacos from my in-laws who ordered them. But when I have had them before they are scrumptious. The Chicken is probably my favorite. The delivery was very quick too. Thank you for the yummy food!!

Chorizo Mac n cheese was EXCELLENT. Cheesy, flavorful, yummy.

Every single thing we ordered was delicious. The salmon cakes tasted fresh, the rice dishes were so flavorful, the empanadas were so meaty!

Beef empanadas and Pozole are amazing! Best ever!
