Mel's Tea Room Ltd - Sackville

We always look forward to our visit to Mel’s The menu is so extensive and oh we always find it difficult to just choose one thing to eat! My sister got the cheeseburger which is always delicious and I chose the club sandwich which is the best one around. The waitress told us about their onion rings and they are definitely delicious! We brought some delicious shortbreads home to enjoy. Every time we leave this fantastic spot ,we are looking forward to our next visit!

This is our second time going to this restaurant and we have always been impressed by the staff and the food that we received! My sisters and I think that the cheeseburgers are the best and also the salads are very attractively presented on the plate! I also really enjoy the club sandwich, it is one of the best I’ve had! We really enjoyed the strawberry rhubarb pie for dessert! We will definitely be back again for the delicious food!

My friend an I went to this place for the first time today. When we got in there nobody hardly around. We sat down and waited a while before she brought us the menus. It was very cold in there also. We both ordered blueberry pie with ice cream and decf coffees. Well the pie didnt taste like blueberries one bit. It tasted of lard...disgusting!! We waited im sure 10 or 15 minutes for our coffee and when it came it was luke warm. I told the waitress im not finishing my pie as it was horrible. She took it away and later gave us our bills and she still charged me for that disgusting piece of pie. I spoke up and told her im not paying for the pie...she took it off. Honestly if your debating about trying this place..I will save you some time..DONT!

I talked a friend of mine into going there today (July 23,2020),hugh disappointment. We both ordered the blueberry pie...well my friend couldn't eat her's as she found it tasted excessively of lard and advised the waitress. We both ordered decaf coffee, which the waitress had to brew a fresh pot as there was none ready (no biggy) but when we got it..it was barely lukewarm. The waitress gave us the bill, and was charging my friend for the pie...like REALLY??? I spoke up about it and she removed it from her bill. In all honesty,who ever owns this business better get on the ball because you won't be in business for much longer if you don't get with the program!!!

Dropped by Mels today w/ a pal for a lil scoff....love the diner food here the staff...quite a history to it too....love the hot sandwiches,fresh coffee home made donuts are awesome as well...can't beat that ....will be back ...don't change a thing
