Ravintola Petronella - Saariselka

Spacious restaurant, good service, average taste and nice food optics. But low price value for the food. One of us ordered the full three course menu and he was not full. I had Coffee-Curved Reindeer Entrecôte (16,50€ and Baked local Burbot (39€ with about three mouthful chunks of fish in the mix of potatoes. Unfortunately the fish chunks were dry and tough. Another had Sautéed Reindeer (29€ , which was alright. The four of us would not recommend to visit for the food. Though I had a good time due to great company and nice atmosphere in the location.

Stumbling upon this restaurant unexpectedly turned out to be a delightful surprise, as the impeccable combination of delectable cuisine, exceptional service, and charming ambience created a truly memorable experience. Highly recommended for anyone seeking culinary excellence.

Must be the friendliest and most welcoming restaurant I've been to in years! Lovely, warm and cozy atmosphere. Delicious menu and nice wine list. The team is absolutely amazing and make you feel so welcome and taken care of! Great cocktails and drink options too... with some very interesting Finnish Gin and Finnish Whisky, which we tried. We took the Grouse for mains, which was also lovely and interesting for us as we don't get it in our home country. Definitely worth a visit if you are after a warm and romantic night of being cared for and well fed. Highly recommended!

I had rather fast dinner with only main course (willow grouse) and dessert (rhubarb) . It was really delicious and definitely you can come here to enjoy for excellent flavors.

Excellent tasting food with flavours specially made to bring about the freshness of winter produce. Service was impeccable. Had to leave early regrettably as i had activities planned but i would have stayed till closing if i ever have the chance.
