Bidrage med feedbackIn the years between 2006 and 2016, we were once a month in a larger group, namely on the first Sunday, to alternately brew in the old bear dust in Blies Menge-Bolchen or in the Bexbacher Hochwiesmühle. In both cases very good offer at very acceptable prices. Until the Bärenstub was closed to open in a new direction against the Gräfinthaler Hof in Mandelbachtal. No comparison to earlier, but a shortened offer at significantly higher prices. And the Jungfleisch family sold their Hochwiesmühle to spend their retirement in sunny Spain after working life; the juniors didn't want to take over, and so the hotel was sold with the restaurant to an ominous capital company that kept the store. Here, too, prices were clear, while the offer was significantly shrinking. And so our brunch round died of a very bad death. Today my wife and I were invited to the Saarbrücker Best Western Victor ́s Residence Hotel Rodenhof for an Easter brunch. This facility belongs to the Ostermann Empire, which consists of many hotels and even higher residences or old houses; Mr Ostermann is also President of the 1.FC Saarbrücken. We were very excited about what would be expected here. Already at the entrance we were greeted by a whole disturbance of the employees, formally overshadowed with good Easter wishes and led to the area Aspen (very well-known winter sports region in Colorado, USA), where a table was reserved for us. To let it happen: the service was heavy on zack, while the kitchen already weakened. As a starter we were offered a glass of champagne; we were on the table with 6 persons; three wanted champagne and three first mineral water. Then my wife ordered her averna, I took a bright Krombach wheat and later a Mirabelle as a digestive tract. There were also plenty of mineral water Ramazotti, coffee and espresso at the table. When the brunch was opened, our table reads a little more; We didn't want to be there at the first rush to the buffet. But when we suddenly got up, we were not better; a long serpent that struck between 40 and 50 people stood before us. Here the organization has failed completely; If there were several buffets with the same offer as in the Hochwiesmühle, the situation would certainly have been significantly differentiated. However, according to the motto Friss, Vogel, or die, the guests had to stay in the long serpent or first go back to their tables to try again later. Not just that we didn't really like it. If the service manager repeatedly balances their employees in the Kasernenhofton in front of the guests' ears, the eastern good mood is rapidly noticeably sad. What can I say about food? The appetizer was plentiful, the offer of the main dishes was quite manageable with a total of four dishes and the desserts were quite imaginative. My wife found the cattle sniper pretty hard while she liked one of the two fish dishes (not the salmon). I found the filled eggs and ham with asparagus filling very tasty at the appetizers: unfortunately the green pepperoni filled with an acid cream were so hard that I almost punctured my teeth out of it; Al Dente is good, but that was too much. I liked the snowballs. For this, I had put some tranches of the pork fillet in the bacon coat; the very aqueous sauce was intended for it. the fact that such a pig fillet, which was probably very well cooked and quite juicy at the time of lying in the container on the buffet, cannot be avoided; I still liked it even if you had meant something too good in the kitchen with the pepper layer on the bacon coat. The fruit salad chosen by me as a dessert came for me the feeling of the convenience bucket; the profiteroles consumed at the table were quite attractive. If I wanted her, I would have to come back to the long line, and I really had no desire to do that. Conclusion: Even today, the really very busy and good service does not deceive that brunch is really not the pure joy here. The organization of mistakes and weaknesses in the offer do not make the guest absolutely delicious; at least that felt our round. I cannot say anything at the prices; I couldn't see the bill as an invitation. My wife and I as well as our daughter and our son-in-law will always look for further Brunch offers; the Victor ́s could not convince us in terms of the situation and do not come into question again.
