Bidrage med feedbackLet me begin with the fact that we were a little abandoned because our little dog was not allowed in the dining room and we had to eat in a small cell like a baking room, all be it one with a log fire. This is fair enough and the staff was very polite and helpful, but I think that dogs are not welcome to be mentioned on the site. My real criticism is the food. My appetizer from foie grass and smoked aal was tiny and worse seemed to come out of the refrigerator. The apple Sorbet was excellent. My main course of Steak was hardly warm to my wife's pork, which unimpressed our guests except the venison. We had been driving almost an hour to get to the remnants as we had seen a positive piece about it on TV and the Trip Advisor reviews were good. We were determined to enjoy ourselves, we didn't have . I don't like to write critical reviews, especially where the employees try to get their best, but that was really no value for money
This hotel is a historic place: a time trip, but with modern facilities. We were in a beautiful apartment with 2 bedrooms. The hotel is clean, the food is good and the restaurant is reusable. The services are good and the managers are very nice.
2 Christmas dinner in the row.... And someone else is safe. Great food and service. Perfect environment.
Brother-sister team Hans Jörg and Barbara have a fabulous setting with a world-famous kitchen and one of the oldest restaurants in Salzburgerland. The church host is almost 700 years old, but the rooms have been pleasant and stylishly renovated, with some stylish touches in the rooms and bathrooms. The simple sauna and wellness area remains the time when parents Elisabeth Hannes drove this village economist. Mum Elisabeth still helps with breakfast, the absolutely top notch unanswered with not one wish. Breakfast is open at 0730. Fresh omelettes and cappuccinos are not a problem. After skiing there is nothing better than a fresh beer in the cozy dining room or hallway. Wine tasting is also worthwhile. Hans Jörg has renovated the old cellar and there is a wide selection of wines from Austria elsewhere. We also tried the wine pairing where different wines were matched to the different courses. One night we went à la carte. On the other night there was a large local company function in the restaurant, so we pick up the same menu with 50 € per head. Excellent beef and our own small dining room meant that we were well maintained. The fantastic Leogang skiing can be reached in the morning with a regular ski bus. If there is a lot of snow, as we had, you can ski all 5 km back from the Asitz or Steinberg over a wonderful ski route over peasant fields and under the view of the pink Leoganger Steinbergen. Unbelievable!!
We have been coming here for many years. Atmosphere is great (Austrian with style and the food is always extremely good (incl. the wine! . A must try when you are in Leogang.
