Bidrage med feedbackUnpretentious is the word that comes to mind to describe this place. The burguers don't have many ingredients but boy do those together mix well! Delicious and enjoyable in every aspect. I understand the hype and get behind it.The place itself feels so calm, good vibes all around, people just being themselves with friends or family, couples and groups, pets. There's something for everyone.Go on a summer day or night, the outdoor seating area is ideal for such weather.
Wonderful food! Unfortunately the music was aggressive and explicit. May want to tone it down.Words like F,?; , and pus?,! not really appropriate.I'll be back for sure. Hoping the music content monitored by management though.
This place takes burger love to a whole new level. First off, straight up customer service – these guys know how to make you feel, well, friendly. Now, here's the deal – the lack of modifications for their burgers. But you know what? Sometimes it's better to trust the chef's vision, and at The Friendly, it's totally worth it. And oh my, those burgers are like buttery, juicy bites of pure heaven. Seriously, the flat top smash burgers here are on another level. Here's a fun twist – they've got pizza at the 30th Street spot, and all the burger styles, fries, and onion rings at the university location. And speaking of university, that one's bigger with a cool patio vibe. But you know what? We dig the smaller 30th Street spot because it means we can snag our goodies and head over to Fall Brewery for the ultimate combo. So, if you're on a burger hunt in San Diego, make sure The Friendly is on your list. Trust me, your taste buds will thank you.
Saw this place on travel deeper, was very excited to try.. a lil underwhelmed, I love a good smash burger, these were a lil too greasy.. they had a good crisp taste and flavor.
Smash burgers don't look huge to me but are filling. Taste great. We tried to order the pineapple juice but they ran out of that when we were there.
