The French Gourmet - S San Diego

We were there for brunch for my grandsons graduation. Food was amazing. Pot pie made fresh that morning. French toast that my grandson flipped over, it was so good. The place is adorable and the servers very nice and friendly.

Loved my simple but perfect breakfast croissant. Good coffee and a nice selection of pastries. Tres bien.

We pre-ordered a pralinsko cake to celebrate Korean parent's day but the bakery completely forgot our order and never made our cake. They ended up slapping on our custom message to a different pre-made tiramisu cake but didn't even spell it right. So disappointing..

Mark, our server, is friendly and attentive. Every time we go there it is a pleasure to see him and enjoy the atmosphere and delicious food. This time we had the escargot, which has a beautiful garlic flavor that we soak up with the freshly made soft crust French bread. The drinks were tasty. The lamb and beef bourguignon were great, served with green beans perfectly cooked and scalloped potatoes. Their selection of desserts is huge.

Such a nice experience. Staff was friendly and worked together to efficiently serve our large party. All the food was so good, we couldn't help sharing with eachother. We will definitely be back!!
