Chicago Fire Grill - S San Diego

I’m not from Chicago, but I consider myself an amateur Chicago hot dog sleuth. I think this place is the real deal, with a Greek twist to their menu thrown in for our benefit. The guy at the counter has a little bit of Chicago attitude, but not offensive. He is very helpful and offers quick service. Plan to make this place a regular visit on my retired restaurant circuit.

Food was great ?. Used to drive to Buena Park for Portillos, but this restaurant is pretty good and lot closer. Fries could be better.

Owner clearly cares about people instead of trying to nickel and dime you like every other restaurant nearby

This is the best place hands down, this place deserves 100 stars. 5 stars doesn’t do this place justice. The owner is an honorable man who deserves 5 Michelin stars. The food is amazing, the price is even better. You haven’t ate food until you’ve came here.
