Ming Yan - Ryedale

I don't know if they have changed the chef, but we have taken food that has recently been so salty, I actually thought the first time that someone accidentally spils a full pot salt in it during cooking! we will not come back! Previously it was amazing.

The food at this restaurant was the worst I have ever tasted. The chicken meat was tough to chew and the sweet and sour sauce was a strange brown/black color instead of the usual orange. The loud atmosphere made it even more unpleasant. We tried to express our dissatisfaction with the meal to the staff, but they were dismissive and unapologetic. It is hard to believe that a place like this can stay in business serving food to the public.

We had a table reservation but ended up waiting for quite some time for our main meal. When we inquired with the waitress, she informed us that someone had taken our order a few minutes ago. The menu was very limited and only offered an all-you-can-eat option which we were not interested in. As we waited for our food, we noticed that other tables around us were receiving their meals promptly. After speaking with the waitress, our food finally arrived. The king prawn curry was average, but the sweet and sour pork was extremely dry and tough. Unless you are really hungry, I would recommend skipping this place.

The food was of poor quality and overly salty. It was a disappointing dining experience as none of us were able to enjoy the food. The meal was not cheap, and most of it ended up in the trash.

I have eaten here since it opened we usually come on a Sunday for the buffet. I can recommend the soups all excellent and very tasty. Then the mixed starter my favourite chicken wings and ribs . Also the prawn crackers are the best I’ve...ever had. My main I usually have veg chow mien and fried rice . You can order as much as you like and it’s cooked from fresh . But you cannot waste food . Service is a little slow but It’s nice to let each course settle. For the price you pay it’s excellent.
