Coles Grill - Ruston

Came here after scoping it out for a while. Parking was easy, but on street. Kids are allowed here until 8pm...there were some folks with a baby there. Some may or may not like this. Place is small and can fill up quickly. They do have a decent tap list with a few ciders and a seltzer in addition to beer. Also a full bar. We decided on fish and chips and fish tacos with chowder. Chowder was decent, as well as the fish and chips. Fries were good. Prices were fair. Service was very attentive and friendly. Several TVs playing football games, no music was playing. We enjoyed our visit and plan on coming back.

We were trying to get into the Italian place next door, but needed reservations. Went to Coles instead and I was thoroughly impressed. The food was great and reasonably priced. You could get fancy cocktails or $3 Rainier tallboys, or micros in between. I highly recommend the bacon and blue cheese salad, and my wife happily polished off her chicken sandwich. In sum, y'all please come buy one of these Port Orchard dives and turn it into a decent bar/tavern. Please!

I found the food basic but tasty pub grub. The selection of beers presented me multiple attractive options. Service was friendly, casual, and efficient. I luxuriated in the laid-back ambience, the cozy darkness.
