1st and 2nd visits were rather disappointing...small portions, bad service. My 3rd visit was yesterday and was a much more pleasant one. Lamb shank is a hit. Prawn and chicken pasta was yummy, however the prawns were so tiny more like shrimp...not the quality I'd expect. Good service and was a good dinner overall. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

I wish I could tell you about the food or drinks at this restaurant, but we were turned away two nights in a row. I could understand Saturday night-it looked quite busy, but Sunday night was completely empty and she gave me the same “we are fully fully fully booked” excuse she used the previous night. I had actually tried to call to make a reservation earlier, but the phone was unanswered. I glanced at the paper on her podium as I was leaving and there was maybe about three reservations, but otherwise a blank looking piece of paper. I didn’t even bother arguing because the whole situation felt so bizarre and why would I want to eat somewhere I was so clearly unwanted. The second time was such a blatant (and unimaginative) lie I couldn’t help but feel I was being discriminated against. Maybe I looked too young and therefore poor? Anyways, if you also find yourself turned away because the restaurant was fully booked by ghosts, the Raj was excellent. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
