Aunty Alice's Cafe - RUSSELL ISLAND

The band played on as the owner, Ned, and his band mate John sang beautifully upon our arrival from the ferry. It was an unplanned, delightful surprise. Our helpful server, Rachel, filled the air with infectious laughter as we enjoyed our lattes and indulged in the delicious homemade carrot cake. We also took the time to read the charming story of Aunty Alice and lovely Russell Island. It was the people that truly made this place special... or was it? We had a wonderful time and are grateful for the experience. Thank you.

We tried the veggie burger and the seafood chowder, and both were absolutely amazing! If you find yourself on Russell Island, I highly recommend stopping by this restaurant. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the service is quick and fantastic.

We had morning tea and lunch here. Friendly fast service. We had a seafood basket for lunch which was well priced and tasty. The cafe is well situated with water views, inside and outside seating and a lovely breeze.

We came up for a day to Russell island we got the Alice Aussie burger and the chicken burger. They were absolutely amazing.. Freshly made, large portions and reasonably priced. And friendly service to top Highly recommended.
