Stopped off for a quick bite on the way past on a detour off a chocker M1; very warm welcome and very tasty fresh pizza. Lots of four legged friends as well so ours was very welcome too. Would stop again. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Travelling from Tattershall to Derby we went off main route to find a village pub that did a Sunday lunch. Called at the Chequers Inn, good car park and friendly welcome. Two of us had Beef and one had chicken with plentiful vegetables. Very satisfied and good value for the money.

Went for Sunday lunch. The food was nice but the service was, shall we say sparse, and after eating it seemed like they completely forgot about us altogether
