Lovely place and small area for kids to play, parking on site. Garden centre next door if you have time on your hands. Roast was good.

What a great pub,food very good and great value. Staff very friendly and couldn't di enough. Highly recommended all round!!!!

Super meal for my eldest son's birthday. Usually I don't have a pudding because in my experience they are usually a let down and not worth using up my calorie budget and the sugar rush or the guilt afterwards, but the Eton mess was more than worth all of the aforementioned. I won't even be making excuses on the scales next week. Unfortunately, it wasn't on the plate long enough for me to photograph. I'm putting the Hare on top of my list to see if they're open for Christmas Day this year.

Excellent food at good prices. 8 of us arrived unannounced for Saturday and were served quickly and politely. I was thrilled to see Fentimans ginger beer available. An elderly member spilled a drink and the charming young waitress soon mopped it up with no fuss ,apologising that we had to move our plates so she could do a good job..barman was very pleasant too. I had a veggie wellington which was excellent...highly recommended

Nice pub, with decent food. Food is basic pub food. Inside was a bit cold, but prices and service was good.
