Food was very disappointing and bland. We had Mother's Day Menu Starter and Main. Starter of prawn and lobster and was just a plate of sauce, saw a mess and both has Sunday roasts but plate was stacked with veg that did not cook and dry

That was the first time we were to the old lion and were not impressed. We asked for half a bigger and lime and got a pint I found a lot of main lumen warm that I would expect it to pip hot, as sausages in the pigs in the ceiling could have been boiled longer, even the carrots and the lamb was very fat I took most of it home for the dogs and the apple cake seemed there for a while as very dry. I didn't find the Sunday dinner very good for the price we paid, the staff seemed OK, but not very customer-friendly nobody asked if the meal was okay if she had I said I didn't know who to say we had a table booked as no one at the desk and nobody really smiled. I wouldn't go anymore
