Bidrage med feedbackThis is often on my list of restaurants to go to with my extended family especially in the summertime when the weather is good. Seating options are good for larger groups. They have a lovely terrace to sit out on and in the back there are great views of the valley below. When I was there in May, the back terraces were under construction so I’m not sure if that’s all done or not. Food is excellent and service friendly. Parking is easy in the dirt lot across the street. Prost!
Set a reasonable way out of the town at the end of a quiet road, this hotel is stunning! Beautiful gardens to sit and enjoy meals and drinks. Friendly helpful staff. The room was beautiful (6), and a kettle was outside the room for making tea or coffee. Very quiet location surrounded by their own vineyards! Would thoroughly recommend the Riesling trocken! Beautiful breakfasts. Would happily return.
We were here a few years ago and had a lovely lunch on the terrace with magnificent views. This visit was in the evening after being at the Neiderwalddenkmal monument and was another wonderful experience. The restaurant features traditional German decor, dark wood paneling, pottery, and antiques. The food is authentic German cuisine. Many house specialties and different schnitzels. Of course, in this important wine area, great wine choices. The prices were very reasonable, especially considering the quality. We ordered an appetizer, three schnitzels, one flamkuchen, two beers, and four glasses of wine and our bill was 70 euros.
Last day of vacation. the summer made a break today, since the first rainy day, was also overdue. Nevertheless, we did not want to crawl into the four walls, but there is no bad weather, but only the wrong dresses. we decided to take lunch in the magenenenhof after we have previously represented a little the feet. so we drove to the johannisberg from there through the weinberge to rüdesheim, about 50 minutes to foot easy stretch. because my parents wanted to do something with us again, they accompanied us in a short time. we reserved a table, and around 12.30 we then came out of the ground of the weingut magdalenhof. the restaurant is entered by the vinothek, where besides weeping also lilac, edelobstbrände, semibitter and the like are offered. the restaurant is distributed over 2 floors separated in two stages. total there are approximately 50 people space. in addition there is a very beautiful Mediterranean summer terrace for approx. 30 men, but they were orphaned thanks to the humble weather. we were greeted by one of the four female service staff friendly and led to our table, where we immediately distributed from the menu. our table stood in a corner of the rustically decorated weing vault, from where they had a great view of the dining room. the device was very nicely tuned and influentially cozy, of therefore 5* for the environment. the drink order was well paved and friendly, and after the short waiting period four well cooled glasses were served: 2 times magdalenhof rosé (0.2 to 3.60) weinschorle riesling (0.4 to 4.50) grape juice choir (0.4 to 3.70) the food offer includes feeding, carving, steaks, hot card, mylages after a pleasant waiting period the diners were served, also here again nice and friendly, on such a staff the cook can be proud. the girls in the service did their work with fun and joy, which could also be observed in the neighbor, i.e. full point 5*! my carving was on a large part of bratkartoffels and was poured over with a large pepper sauce that had flew with a shot rheingauer riesling wine. the carving was big, but if I had a taste of it, it would have been possible to have a little more. the bratkartoffeln were just good instead of tasty, because for my taste too much speck was on, and he wasn't even fried. if it must be a bratkartoffel, then I need the light chess and only in homeopathic doses. here a note in the menu would be useful, or from the service at the order. I have about 95% of the unloved swan under the decorative varnish sheet. Unfortunately there were also some dried cramps distributed over the edge of the plate, which is completely unnecessary because the edge belongs to the gasse, which should have come to a good temperament. but since I was the only one who had to criticize at his eating, what the others were very satisfied, I give 4* to eat. the plv review with 4*. on cleanliness there was nothing to complain about, the toilets were tiptop clean, there was a pleasant, fresh fragrance in the air and in the background played calm relaxing music in the form of harfenk sounds 5* conclusion: absolutely recommended, the foods have a very solid and good quality, the ambiente is also more than just booking before!
We spent a very nice weekend at the Magdalenenhof. The rooms are very cozy and tastefully decorated. There are plenty of rooms in the restaurant and conservatory. It was regularly ventilated. The food tasted good, like breakfast. We were completely satisfied.
