Vesuvio's Italian - Roxboro

Salad bar was good. Service was amazing. 2 days ago, I got fruti de mare ALL seafood (baby shrimp, scallops, and clams) were bad and smelled horrible. The mussels were still good but I only had 4 on the plate. I got food poisoning from the bad seafood. Today I thought I'd give them another chance with something different so I got a lasagna to go and within 2 bites found what looks like a piece of wood (pic below). Never will eat here again. Male server was wonderful and friendly, took the plate away as soon as I said something. However the food is not worth it my health.

Everything was tasty, but a few things were clearly frozen rather than fresh, and be warned that they do not clean/ de-vein the shrimp.

The salad bar was terrible, brown wilted lettuce and cucumbers, fake bacon bits, and dressings were spilled into each other. It looks like the salad bar is never refreshed. One of our dinners was linguini with clams which was good. Four real clams and the rest out of a can. The other dinner was a parmesan that was very crisp and the sauce wasn't too good. Food was not cooked completely. Waiter was nice. Atmosphere was off. Old man moved him self behind us and kept hitting the seat.

I was looking forward to going and getting a slice and bring home food for dinner. The slice was shocking nothing like I rememebered my calzone had little to no riccatta cheese we throw out almost all of it. What a dissapointment.
