Stanford Hotel - Rowville

I always went out of my way to come here, but tonight will be the last time. After we had to wait 15 minutes after our first duck for garlic bread and had to ask twice, our main thing was brought out how the garlic bread met the table. The rude waitress decided to let me know when I asked that they will be sent back, that the net will not be fresh and will wait for us when we decide to have them because they do not cook fresh. I refuted this, and after talking to the manager, I was told that she had to give and take something, I agreed with her and added that you would think as an experienced manager that she would have realized that they had made a mistake. When our 5 meals came out with wild salad, cold chicken and vegetables, they ventilated on my face that they were fresh, and the staff had received the old meals. As a bit of a meal, I can be quite hard in my reviews, but until tonight I never asked to have a refund for meal, and was told that would not happen, and I should start it with the event manager tomorrow. My last outing here tonight was with 30 people, so my business will go elsewhere. Absolutely disgusts in the way I was treated, as well as the reheated food and to it from the smug waitress with the tattoos, on my way decided that they go to me and sarcastically say that I have a great night with their fake smile on their face. Word of the council team, if you get fucked and RACIST make sure that you are not recorded or heard by someone that you do not recognize, is also a friend of mine. Prost for the advice about people not read reviews, but I thought I would do one anyway.

Delicious food, extensive menu. Large parts. The staff was very polite and friendly. Happy, again for another start with a friend. I look forward to tasting other dishes.

Was it with a friend, ordered friend fish n chip l ordered a garlic bread with cheese to come first and the main was a roast of the day pork, friend got her food and I wait and waited nothing yet to come...out about 40 minutes the garlic bread come, then 5 minutes later the Main come out DISGRACEFUL!!!! Stamford Inn has been an icon since when my memory serves me correctly since the days of VFL Park and the home of Hawthorn home games. I remember holding a beer there after the game. Come to 2022 and things have changed dramatically. I live in NSW, but I was at Stamford Inn several times. What keeps me back every time? Well, it's for everyone. From the grill to the bistro, which has a children's play area to the sports area, the list continues. What is of great importance is the staff and their professional polite and welcoming demeanour. I ate in the grill and in the bistro, what can I say I love my food and I love what I eat every time I have been. I must confess my visit recently that I had eaten there twice in the bistro. I had both nights all the bastards. Why didn't I taste better? Great serving, great service that when I visited various parts of the Inn. I believe value for money when you know the door of an establishment with a grin that all facets of your visit have been fulfilled and exceeded. Well done. See you next time. We recently held an event during the day and the event manager, along with the staff, exceeded our expectations in ensuring that all our needs were taken care of. We are grateful for all their assistance. The food and service were both excellent.
