Le Génépi Alpe D'huez

Fun, well executed restaurant serving french cuisine. Possibly the best food we had, it's refined, modern and experimental. The prawn tortellini was excellent. The mushroom gnocchi was so full of flavour (just a little too much mousse for us). The carrot cake was a fun experiment that was well executed but didn't quite hit the spot (that said, the chocolate got a rave thumps up). That said everyone at the table enjoyed their dishes and it's good value. An impressive wine list and the service was attentive, helpful and on point. Everything you'd want from a restaurant is here if you're looking for a great food experience in the area. It's a place that feels there's still more potential to improve.
