Morrisons Cafe Catcliffe - Rotherham

I would give this restaurant a 3-star rating for the food. I ordered a toasted ham and cheese sandwich, but they were out of ham. The staff member was very polite and offered me cheese and tomato instead, which was delicious. My partner enjoyed the full English breakfast and my child had mashed potatoes and sausages. Unfortunately, my child has a pea allergy and despite informing the staff to leave out the peas, there was one pea on his plate. Although my child did not have an allergic reaction, I was shocked and considered complaining. However, we decided not to make a fuss since my child had already eaten most of his meal. In retrospect, we should have mentioned it to ensure better care in the future.

I stopped by to do some shopping and ended up getting a snack at the cafe. We just had drinks and sandwiches, but it was a great experience. The Morrisons cafe is lovely and always bustling with activity.

I visited this restaurant today (Saturday) to pick up breakfast to go, and I was surprised at how rude the woman at the entrance was. While I understand the importance of reminding patrons to follow Covid guidelines, there is no excuse for shouting at or speaking to customers as if they were children, which is exactly what she did. It is clear that this establishment is in desperate need of customer service training. It appears that many other customers share my dissatisfaction. I am disappointed before even receiving my food, and I have no intention of returning.

Just done a bit of shopping nearby so decided to call in for lunch. We hadn't been in here for years and I must say it's a nice morrison's. We both ordered fish and chips as we've had many times in various other stores.This was no exception the fish was really top quality and really big portion. The chips seem to have improved in all the shops it was a really nice lunch and very filling. Will certainly call here again when we in the area.

Welcoming cafe with good choice of food. Hot food is delivered to your table so it doesn't go cold while queuing, great idea. Friendly staff.
