Akbar's - Rotherham

My experience at Akbar's King of Curry was excellent. I tried the spicy Karahi Goshi dish with garlic naan and it was delicious. The atmosphere was great and the food was reasonably priced.

Akbars Rotherham is our family's go-to spot for delicious curry. The manager always ensures that my family receives exceptional service, going above and beyond. The waitstaff is friendly and attentive, making us feel like part of the family. The woman at the register is always friendly and manages to make us laugh. The food is amazing, and we have been loyal customers for years. We will continue to celebrate special occasions at Akbar’s Rotherham.

I recently dined at the restaurant with my family, and I must say it was a delightful experience. The food was delicious, and the service was top-notch. Nadeem, our server, was incredibly helpful and friendly. I would highly recommend this restaurant to friends and family. I can't wait to go back again. Thank you, Akbar's Rotherham.

First time at Akbar's since the start of the pandemic two years ago. OMG I'd forgotten how good it is. The food and service is absolutely first class. The Keralan Gosht is devine, so fresh and every dish unique in it's taste and flavours. Attentive...friendly service. It certainly won't be another two years before we are back.

Without a doubt the best Indian food I have had in a long while, and that's spanning several years, countries and counties. The style of the restaurant is stunning, a bit dark and mysterious, think Dark Chocolate meets Turkish Delight. Such a warm and cosy...feel. With that in mind the restaurant is actually quite large, but you still feel that personal touch. Our waiter was superb, so skilled and professional, on a full-to the roof night he remained attentive, polite and a little bit funny too... not showing aaaaaany signs distress with other guests behind him, even when I'm rambling on with Dad jokes poor fella. The food was out of this world, each dish was unique and flavoursome, with neat party stoppers like the family sharing naan... its an absolute beast. I'm gutted I didn't take any photos We will e back when visiting this area again, without a doubt. Thank you for such a great night.
