Bidrage med feedbackThe food was delicious! We enjoyed the 3-course lunch. I ordered the gnocchi, scallops, and pork croquette. All were fantastic, I am going to remember that gnocchi for awhile! The atmosphere and views were really nice; sat inside next to the window on a chilly day and it was nice and warm. Really attentive staff. We did ask to speed up the last course in order to catch our next cellar door booking (they were very nice with accommodating our request) so I’d recommend probably 2 hours or longer for the full experience. Highly recommend! Enjoy!
Had a 2 hour lunch with my partner and 9 months old baby. The staff were fantastic and very professional. The food was absolutely top class, best feed in the Hunter! I felt like I was eating “hatted food” for an extremely affordable price! I recommend this place to anyone who likes top-class food and wine. Thanks to all the staff who were amazing. If you are planning a visit around this time (july) don’t forget to ask for the Truffle!
The setting and outlook is stunning whilst the staff were friendly, knowledgeable attentive. THE B.R.E.A.D with house churned butter and Shiraz salt was to DIE for. The other food highlights were the whiting the octopus. The steak was tender but slightly overcooked. Best value fine dining in the Hunter with the best view.
The food was just delicious and overall well priced. Staff were very friendly and attentive. The place itself is lovely and bright. The four of us felt very comfortably seated. Suffice to say, we left satisfied with very full tummies.
Wow, the team at ESCA have stepped it up a notch to say the least. This is a must visit restaurant in the Hunter Valley. We have been members of Bimbadgen for over a decade and been to ESCA a number of occasions over that time. Today we were totally in awe of Mark and his team. Four of us selected the Three Course option for lunch. Not one of us had the same dish until the third dish. Each of us shared with each other to compare who had the best dish. no one was disappointed. Deep, rich and complex flavours, plenty of variety and super friendly staff.
