Uncle Jack's On Canton Street - Roswell

We had a great experience!! Delicious food. We were seated promptly for our reservation. Our server, Elizabeth, was very attentive and engaging with our group of 7. Our birthday dinner there couldn't have been a better experience.

We had a reservation at 7 and they told us it would be 45 min. Wait. We ended up having to sit at two different tables. They didn't bring our salads and the food was jus ok even tho the prices are high.

Uncle Jack's always has good tasting steak. Unfortunately, they are frequently out of items and the service seems a bit average. Their bar is stocked with very good quality liquor, although the bartender didn't quite know how to make my drink. It was a bit sweet. We had reservations for a table but were seated in the bar area. Our server was forgetful and the overall service not what you would expect for the price. I tried to order a bottle of wine, but everything I ordered was out. We finally found a bottle that was okay, and the bar manager did discount it. Tried to order Kobe as an appetizer. It was out of stock. Settled on Wagyu that was okay, but not Kobe. We did have bone in 35 day tomahawks that were delicious. Spent $700 for three people. It wasn't a $700 meal.

Our server, Christian, was terrific. He was so friendly and good natured. The food was great. The steaks completely delicious. I don't know about Uncle Jack's signature cocktails but I just wanted my trusty gin martini. It was not good. Super disappointed that I spent $10 on something I could have made so much better myself. Also, when we asked for our bills (we were with two friends) the lady who rang up our bills switched credit cards and our friends got our bill, which was more expensive than ours, because we got drinks and they didn't. We ended up taking 15 minutes to sort it out and in the end had to Venmo our friends the extra cash. We could have lived without that hassle, especially for a high end restaurant. I was expecting more quiet music that made chatting easier. Instead it was 80s pop that didn't fit the vibe. Having Frank Sinatra on would have been way better. I'll definitely return but won't get a drink. I'm a much better bartender.

Service was slow for a restaurant that was relatively empty. Waiter was very friendly and did what she could but kitchen was slow. Food came out cold in some cases though the quality was good, the temperature was not
