Carmelita's - Roseville

Always enjoy a nice dinner at Carmelita's when we visit Roseville and this visit did not disappoint. Spicy margarita was excellent and our chicken serano and chicken chipotle were tasty. We'll be back

The food was definitely lacking, I ordered the burrito with pork chile Verde, and I was so disappointed. It was literally a quesadilla. Very little meat and way too much cheese, that was it. For 16$... I've had way better burritos for half that from taco trucks. My husband had the chimichanga (shreddedbeef), and it was also smothered with cheesenothing else except the beef on the inside, but at least his was topped with some guac and sour cream. Beautiful restaurant, though.

Went with family. Great portions, fantastic flavors, and nice atmosphere.

Authentic! Haven't had Mexican/Hispanic food this good anywhere else. Seriously. Freshest guacamole. Large portions. The Chile relleno is hands down the best I've had in my life. Goodness gracious! And fabulous house drinks like the Margheritas? You should just go right now...Try the chicken Serrano, you won't be disappointed.
