Gibsons Steakhouse Rosemont

The food and service were excellent. The tables are too close to one another. Our table for two was squeezed in between two tables of four. There was very little room to get to the booth side without hitting either table. I joked with a service host, who was putting linen on table next to me, about how it looked like he was making his bed as the table cloth hit our table when he was spreading out the table cloth. He was not disrespectful. You can’t have a private conversation. The tables are too close.

We waited over 30 mins to be seated when we made reservations. We previously called to see if we can modify our reservation and we were told we couldn’t and our best bet was keeping our reservation and to make sure we would be on time. Yet when we arrived they over booked and we had to wait 30 minutes to be seated. For a fine dinging restaurant, I expected more. we had plans afterwards that had to be modified due to the time we had to wait.

Had a reservation for 9:00pm sadly didn’t get to our table till 10:00pm. Food was good and our server was very knowledgeable and patient.

It’s to congested food was very bland I will never go back

Steak burned, I complained, but waitress brushed it off and said how they sea it. It was black and bitter. And this is the second time in this place. So I'm done with them. For $100, Steak better be perfect every time. My 11-year-old son would cook better. Shame
