Lola Coastal Italian - Rosemary Beach

Food is mediocre. I ate my sons chicken tenders over my $30 plate. Basically I spent $100 on two entrees a kids meal and two canned drinks and don’t forget it’s self serve. You order at the counter and make ur own drinks if you want ice and a cup. Ice water is self serve. For a place this style I don’t see why it’s such an issue to put signs everywhere saying kids aren’t allowed to make noises, cry, or run around the restaurant (which I get). Price gouging to the fullest and just a weird set up for a restaurant at that price point. Would have must rather gone to a more upscale place had been served and spent the same amount for better tasting food.

The best pizza! So rare to find Italian type pizza around here! You know their flour is of the highest quality, I enjoyed every bite. We tried Margherita, Hawaiian, white pizza and Italian meats and they did it so well the combinations and flavours! The service was different since you have to order yourself by the counter but the ladies were very nice and helpful bringing the pizzas and making sure all was right during our dinner! Would recommend 100% and would love to come here once more before we leave the region!

Tourist trap. Not kid friendly at all. Extremely overpriced for the food and service. Kid-friendliness: Signs everywhere about the noise policy and that they don’t allow screaming or crying kids or kids running around which is completely understandable. But the looks I got from staff when my toddler started crying before I could even take him outside wasn’t representative of the “respect” that the noise policy signs explained. Many restaurants in the area are for adults only. They should follow that approach if they expect children to behave as robots.

I had high hopes for this restaurant, but unfortunately it did not work out. I was there twice during my vacation. The food was very expensive considering no one was there to take care of you at all, everything with self serve. And you eat with plastic utensils. The second time I was there, I found the bartender to be extremely rude. It is just a very snobby and unhelpful and unwelcoming atmosphere in the restaurant. And again, it’s not cheap to eat there. You have to order your food find your own table and when it’s crowded, that can be somewhat difficult. I would not encourage anyone to go to this restaurant, nor will I ever go back when I visit the area.

Rosemary beach is so gorgeous, but the restaurants are all lack luster. This one takes the cake. You have to go up to the counter to order your 30$ plate of food to eat with plastic utensils. Try finding a clean table or a bar seat that someone isn’t “ holding” for a friend. The less than friendly bartenders allow this bc “ these are their people” legit. They don’t like tourists. Just sad.
