Aodake Sushi And Steak - Romeoville

Went in for lunch and sat at the habachi station. It was very entertaining. Once seated, depending on the meal choice, you cam start with a miso soup and salad. Within the photo, you can see steak, veggies, rice, and chicken being prepared. The experience does go by fast so enjoy! The cook was funny and asked how you would like the protein cooked and if there are any allergies. He also threw in little games like catching broccoli with your mouth. The over all ambiance of the area with the habachi was playful. A great time!

Chef was great not real impressed with the food not a seafood eater my filet was cooked next to shrimp and scallops so thats what it tasted like. Will give them another shot. Decided to try this place for the first time. First thing I noticed was the heat! The AC must have been broken but people were there tolerating and fanning themselves. After a good minute or two, we had to seat ourselves b/ no one approached us. We saw workers looking at us so no excuses as to not knowing we were there. We seated ourselves. Then after 7 min of waiting, still no waiter. The guy cleaning the doors and host area didn’t say anything either so we left. With other sushi restaurants available, I couldn’t bare to be there any longer so we left to go to MY favorite sushi spot in Romeoville. Went here last minute on Aug. 30th to celebrate my son’s 30th GOLDEN birthday. What a great choice! Everything was delicious Alex was a top-notch waiter. Sushi, soup, stir fry, hibachi.. they do it right! Alex even brought out some complimentary ice cream sang Happy Birthday to my son!
