Caribbean e - Rome

I went to a restaurant for lunch and was greeted warmly. The food was displayed on a buffet and everything looked delicious. However, I decided to order the Cuban sandwich and I'm happy to say it was the best sandwich I have ever had. When I found out it only cost six dollars and fifty cents, I felt like it was underpriced for the quality of food.

I really enjoyed the ambiance at this restaurant. The hostess was friendly and accommodating. The service was a bit slow, but it added to the authenticity of the experience. The food was good, but not outstanding. I think I will explore other dining options when I return to Rome.

I can't say enough great things about this place. The food is ALWAYS GREAT and FRESH! The owners are amazing people and you get a ton of food for the price. I eat as much as I can. If I gave them a hundred stars.

Amazing food. Steak and pig are so tender, very juicy. The rice is here. And they made a special order of the Caribbean Mac Salad just for me. Thank you. Can't wait to try the chicken next.

We really, really liked the rice and beans as well as the additional meat. I suggest oxtail. It is all rather odd as we did not like the restaurant years ago when it first opened and I had to be dragged by my son and daughter in law along with my wife. They live in the NYC area and know something about good food. Loved it. I don't think I changed. Maybe the restaurant did? : Best, Terry
