Sensi - Rome

We made a reservation and even received a confirmation, but unfortunately, the restaurant was closed when we arrived. It was truly disappointing.

Casual but romantic and elegant atmosphere. Tables are spaced out and comfortable chairs are a nice touch. The cuisine is a modern twist on traditional dishes, with influences from the East. Excellent quality ingredients, well-prepared and presented. I have tried a bit of everything in multiple dinners, from appetizers to desserts, and everything was truly top-notch. Well done! The wine list is not extensive but well-stocked and reasonably priced.

The restaurant overlooks the square, which is truly charming, and the interiors are spacious as well. The service is impeccable and when reading the menu, I was really indecisive because all the dishes seemed flawless. The red shrimp appetizer was truly special, although I could taste very little ginger in the seafood linguine, unfortunately. The final cheesecake was a delight! Definitely worth trying if you want to dine near the Colosseum.
