Bidrage med feedbackIt is a sushi restaurant, not a Brazilian restaurant, so do not come here if you are very hungry. Not quite sure why the Brazilian theme. Prices are quite high for what is offered.
Let me start with this. I am not the type to leave reviews for restaurants. I am easy going and my husband and kids tend to enjoy what we eat. We have traveled and gone to Japanese restaurants across Europe. But nonetheless — here we are. It was a disaster from the beginning. We waited close to two hours to get in to the restaurant when we had a reservation for 7pm. My children were starving and we contemplated leaving to go to McDonalds or the nearest panino shop. But we waited because we heard it was good. We were dead wrong. Upon sitting at the restaurant, it took another 30 minutes to even get served. The waitress took my husband and my drink orders — white wine — and he brought the wrong glasses. The appetizers that came were the wrong ones. When we told them that the sushi rolls were NOT what we ordered, they acted like we were wrong and not the inverse. My kids are allergic to shellfish and we wouldn 't have ordered the rolls they brought. We did not eat them and they took them away 25 minutes, or so, after. For main dishes, it took another 40 minutes. By the time it came, we were ready to get the check. Like clockwork, they brought the wrong dishes. My husband 's dish was raw. We sent it back and they apologized, in addition to the wine mistake earlier. Still, the waitress seemed unpleasant. She was unwilling to provide empathy and it angered my husband in particular. They told us they would take care of the main dishes bill once they brought the new ones out and we finished. It was not very good and my sushi certainly did not taste fresh. It was surprising, given the level of research my family does prior to eating at any place while traveling. Once we finished, or at least to the extent that we could given the level and taste of our dishes, we called for the check. It took half an hour for it to come, and the waitress passed us several times to take drink orders from tables next to us. She kept saying one moment, but it seems that moment kept turning into another. Finally, the check came. We were expecting the main dishes to be taken off given the manager had told us earlier that would be the case. And, of course, the wine should have been too. But nothing was. It came to $235 somehow? and there was no way that our meal rounded out to that number. My husband called for the manager and he came over. He lowered his mask and looked at the bill. He shook his head, oddly, when my husband reminded him of the fact that he said he would remove items from our bill. It was absurd and pretty surreal. What kind of place treats its customers like this? In the end, we refused to pay the full check. We were simply expecting them to follow through with their side of the bargain. We paid for what they promised and my husband scolded the manager, telling him if he charged us for the main dishes and wine he would go a few streets over to the police station (even though this would be fruitless . The disaster was over. We left. I kid you not, this was the worst dining of my life. My kids, 11 and 13, agreed. I feel snobby writing a review like this. After all, I appreciate those who work in hospitality during the pandemic, and in general. I am a foodie and someone who loves to try new places that warm the soul. But this was something else. Something out of left field. I am not comfortable with how my family was treated and expect better service. The food had potential, genuinely, but it was overshadowed by entirely illegitimate and unreasonable service. If there is someone else I can speak to regarding this, I would like to. All I will say is this. Perhaps it was an off day. Perhaps it wasn 't. It 's as simple as this, though. Be aware of my experience and weigh it when you decide to go here. That is all. Good day. :
I think their other spot at Rinascente has a better quality food. We came to this location from that one. The staff was very kind and always smiling. The food is ok but i really love the concept!!!
