Had an absolutely amazing dinner!!!! It exceeded our expectations from the moment we walked in to the moment we left! Very friendly owners lots of laughs, great wine and fantastic meal. Best night out!

We would never have found this fantastic little trattoria had our Italian hosts not brought us here. Hidden down a tiny alley, out outdoor table was in shade and a welcome cool breeze came down the alley on the unseasonably hot October afternoon we visited for lunch after a morning at Ostia Antica. Our hosts suggested we have 3 of the traditional local dishes the place is known for and I was so pleased we did. I would not normally order anchovies given a choice but the fried anchovies with red onion was one of the best fish dishes I have had. Similarly, the Roman style veal would not normally be a first choice but my wife and so thoroughly enjoyed it. We split the anchovy starter, this veal dish, and some mixed grilled vegetables and this was more than enough. I did try my host’s pasta with truffle oil and garlic and I would definitely try several of the pasta dishes given another opportunity. I had the homemade baked cherry cheesecake (a rough translation) and it was the best I had ever tried. We also had a carafe of house white wine which was a perfect accompaniment

Buon ristorante, pesce o menu tradizionale romancio. abbiamo optato per la matriciana, eccellente, dopo aver posato un antipasto ricco di verdure e alcune carni. poi abbiamo assaggiato due fette di buona crostata e due caffè. Vorrei solo dire una maggiore attenzione per questo momento particolare. Grazie.
