Bidrage med feedbackFood was delicious and very fair priced. Staff was super friendly. I would visit again!
Incredible experience. It is a slow dining experience, but embrace it! The waiters are fantastic, friendly, extremely helpful and knowledgeable. The food... WOW. I had the tagliatelle ragu, and my wife had the cacio è pepe. Both were fantastic. Perfect, hand made pastas and divine sauces. Great, inexpensive wine pairings, and the tiramisu was excellent. Will definitely return.
We arrived at La Cantina Ciociara on its first day of opening and during our five days in Rome we ate there four times. The owner and host, Claudia was the most welcoming person, gave us a background to the food, its origins and locality. She also gave us great advice for our visit to Rome, making our visit even more authentic. We took several meat boards and litres of the Atina red wine which was out of this world. It is not the cheapest place in Rome, but very reasonable and amazing value considering the quality of the food. Super, super tasty.
We came across this place only by hazard and we got in simply because the place is nice looking especially over night. Simple but genuine food and decent wine. Not much expensive so that you can have a meal at a decent price/quality ratio and you can avoid the usual turist tariff in place for instance in Piazza Navona...,,
For all you eco food lovers this is a place to have some lunch. Including a beer that comes from particular region, and obviously is far different from the boring Peroni beer you get everywhere. It has local wine as well. Place suits more for lunch time with choice of various plates. Dont go there for full dinner unless you are looking for mote of the light fingerfood dinner.
