I Torquati - Roma

The server was beyond nice and tried to work with us even though he didn’t know much English- was joking around with us and helped me to pick out a meal since I couldn’t make out the menu. He Asked us where we are from and chatted with us about Florida!!! Super nice server and has been the nicest person we have met here so far!!! Wish I knew his name!

When you come to Rome and you're tourist, you're likely to end up in paying a lot and eating junk food. Torquati is different. It's not in downtown, but it's very easy to reach...Underground station Colli Albani and 5 minutes walking. Food is great: meat in particular lamb, veal, beef), but pasta as well since the lady owner od the restaurant) prepares home made pasta and all the sauces i like meat sauces...ragut). The lady prepares great desserts as well. The crowd is informal...just eat and enjoy your food!

Due to the fact that we weren't locals, we asked for the stuff's recommendation. Salvadore suggested their beef steak. We took his word and we ended up eating an incredible and huge beef steak. Their house wine was also very good. After the first bottle, we received another one, compliments of the house. The stuff was very helpful and attentive. I definitely recommend this place. Grazzie!

Stars what other to say, excellent meat as well as appetizers the first and contours. local not very large, little parking unfortunately seen the area, full of photos of characters of tv and football. higher prices than the average however as I always say the quality you pay.
