Zero stars would be my preference. Awful customer service. 1st time we went in, the girl with long hair laughed loudly as we’re English and was using google translate to order vegetarian food. The food itself was good so thought we’d go in again today. Same girl with long hair laughed as soon as she saw me, said something in Italian and said ’English’ in the middle of her mocking then continued to laugh and talk loudly in Italian. The waiter young man began to join in laughing. The manager told them off for laughing at us us being English and their rudeness. We were going to order food again but didn’t bother after the 2nd attempt and being laughed at. I have never on my travels felt so unwelcome and received such poor staff ignorance and behaviour towards non Italians. Absolutely appalled and was very upset when we left. They will not get 1 more euro from us whilst we are here. The young girl with long hair laughing at customers from England needs preferably dismissing or taught how to be polite and respectful to those who have chosen to spend their time and money in her homeland. Never experienced anything like it anywhere else in the world. Never again on principle. In the uk I would say x2 staff are ignorant and borderline racist immature people who have no respect, thought or care for their customers. This was unfortunately our first experience of Rome after leaving home nearly 12 hours earlier, tired and hungry. We felt very unwelcome. If you’re ‘English’ as she pointed out laughing on both visits then be prepared to be mocked and laughed at in front of everyone there. A real shame that 2 staff although led by the younger girl have ruined our experience in this place. A shame the manager lady had to speak to them in front of me as she was polite. Why hire such poor staff to ruin your business? Do not recommend if you’re foreign!
It is a coffee shop located in a beautiful and spacious square, Piazza Santiago del Cile, in the Parioli district. There are nice outdoor tables and chairs where people bask in the sun and enjoy their drinks. Inside it is very elegant with nice tables , mirrors and sofas. It is a place that probably has had a glorious past and now twirls in a decent mediocrity. We stopped for breakfast as we were in the area after a few years of absence. We have found a place that has stood still in time, but now it is rather dated. It was a brief stop for coffee, cappuccino, among other things. Quality of products is average. Prices are slightly higher, due to the posh area where it is located. Indifferent but not bad service. You will never see the shadow of a foreign tourist or traveler in this café. The clientele is made up largely of loyal people rather advanced in age, who live in the area. We will return, if we happen to be in the area again.
Neighborhood bar, with excellent coffee and wide choice of good food for lunch (and great toast.) open until the hour of aperitif. possibility to sit outside and inside. always personal and professional. only neo a certain detachment from the property, not understandable for a neighborhood bar
Incredible sortiment with dishes and two beautiful girls at the counter.
