Bistrot - Roma

First night in Rome. Tired after a long journey, we stumble into a bistro near our apartment. The waitress is a vegetarian and explains that she can therefore only recommend vegetarian food. Ok, we'll give it a go. We do. It's excellent. The flavours are both subtle and complimentary to each other. We are told that there are not many tourists we look around, my son and I and see couples with smouldering looks sipping wine suggestively. We have a giggle. Why not when the food and the service is this good. It isnt formal it is very casual and all the better for it
