Bidrage med feedbackA dear friend who regularly frequents this restaurant invited me to spend some of our time together during lunch time. We occupied a table on the veranda, as the pleasant temperature of these days allowed us to do so. So far so good. The unwelcome surprises arose with the arrival of the dishes. The gricia was made with cream!!!!!! What a horror, both for the sight and above all for the palate. Orecchiette with crispy bacon drowned in cream. More horror. To avoid further surprises, we opted for a very simple second course: raw ham and buffalo mozzarella. The ham was very salty, and the mozzarella, weighing about 1 ounce, did not resemble the flavor of buffalo in the slightest. A disaster. The dining room and kitchen staff proved to be inattentive and professionally unprepared, in particular due to the confusion in noting the courses, the lack of knowledge of the wines, the lack of knowledge of the typical and simple Roman dishes, and the long waits between the courses.
