The Onward Store - Rolling Fork

This was a restaurant we found on our trip home to Arkansas. It looked pretty cool on the outside so we thought we would give it a try. The food is excellent! I had the Philly sandwich with homemade onion rings and they were exceptionally good. My husband had the catfish and okra and he said it was some of the best he's ever eaten. Our waitress was very sweet and knowledgeable about the menu. We will definitely be visiting this restaurant again. They have a lot of items for sale that portrayed the history of that establishment.

Great meal! We just happened on this spot! What a find! Fried chicken plate was great. Wife had a great cheeseburger fries. The old store is a true find for history buffs! Enjoyed it greatly!

Great place to stop. Po Boys were fantastic and the service was extremely fast. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Stop here if you are in the area...with it.

Great little place in the middle of nowhere. The area is full of interesting history and this place has a part in all of that.

If your in a hurry or starving there is a problem. After an hour and 10 minute wait our 2 hamburgers were served. Burgers were an average burger, best part of meal was onion rings. A waitress actually told a customer that there was only one cook she didn't do a good job.
