Bidrage med feedbackWe had bruschetta however it lacked spizes. We had pizzas which was fine but the tagliata we ordered was uneatable and was full of fat and from pick and not ox. After that a night with stomach pains. The restaurant did not have a wine card and the house wine from a box was not an experience.
Al borgo has a very warm feel about it . The decor is done in old sicilian style the upstairs has old impliments that were used in this area to cultivate the soil and hand harvest . I have eaten here a fair few times and always enjoyed what ive chosen the pizzas are very good tasty as are the pastas and fish and meat dishes but they pride them selves on there pizzas !!!
It is a nice place. The menu gives ample choice between pizzas, pasta and meat or fish courses. The staff is friendly.
We stumbled in here on a dark, cold, rainy night in early spring. What a treat! The pizza with the best pizzas I have had in Italy . Highly recommend!
I 've been in this restaurant with a dear friend; he is from the place, and was suggesting me to have a Pizza here. I was not disappointed at all! The Pizza we took had a wonderful topping: as usual for good Italian pizzas, not too much, not too less... and the pistachios from Bronte, among the best ones in the world! Top ingredients, crispy bread, and the location too! While being a bit hidden from sight, being at the end of a very narrow alley, once you get in you immediately feel at home. The personnel is friendly, and welcoming, as is usual from people from the region. If you are in the area, consider going there!
