Purple Pig Pizzeria -  Rockwood,

Stopped by the P.P.P for a quick pizza and cold beverage. The young lady quickly prepared our lunch. The pizza has premade crust, but the toppings seemed quite fresh. There is only a small seating area as most of their business appears to be carry out.

Friendly staff, good prices and great tasting pizza. We will definitely order from them again when we visit Rockwood later this summer.

The place is cozy, we want to try local business every time we move to a new town instead of driving to our usual place. The pizza combo is a good price the pizza is good but we have tasted better.

Sure there's chain restaurants but in all of my days travelling, I have found that our best, most enjoyable food experiences come from giving our dollars and time to small town independently owned and operated establishments. The Purple Pig Pizzeria caught our eye while in Rockwood, a small town about 15 minutes from Guelph. An odd name, odd marketing color scheme and menu design but our 15 minute visit there was great! Customer service was tops! Front service gal was a Great conversationalist.
