Winery On The Bay Dog'gone Brewery

F I could give me a zero star. our experience started great. the male bartender with the tattoos was great. very friendly and knowledgeable. the sign outside said under 18 not allowed. we were in town to visit family and had our 13 and 15 year old youngs with us. we let them sit outside on the terrace. we were an hour in our flights of wein and beer without problems. then one of the owners came to our table and told us that our children could not even be on the terrace. we asked if we could finish our drinks and he said yes, he went to the terrace and told my children to go and stand on the street. he also made another family that sat outside the holiday because of their child. they were also very unhappy. when we left another group, we entered with a child and they were asked to go too. this owner also took the Tac-Toe game away from my 13 and 15 year old kids as they played the game. they have caused no problems. the most successful breweries and wineries are family-friendly. it is understandable not to want them inside, but why not on the terrace itself with their parents? they are not infants who do not disturb them. we were very happy to support a small business, but unfortunately do not go back and my family living in rockport will not be. also the female bartender was extremely rude and had the audacity to say that most of their males get babysitter. very stunning. we are visiting rockport and wanted to support a local business. only bad business practice. three different groups that would have spent money.

I never review places but we have been to hundreds of breweries/wineries around the world. Since we had a child we have been to numerous more. Today is the first time we have ever been refused service just by walking in with a child. I understand everyone can have their own rules but maybe advertise that online. We have been waiting months to visit and quite frankly probably would have chosen a different town had we realized this. Save yourself the hassle and head down to Rock Bottom, they have a better environment and attitude!!

Wow what a great place we got both flights of wine and beer, found the perfect ones and took some home..highly recommend!!

Great spot, fresh beer and friendly staff. Such a great place to stop by. They are pet friendly too. We had the Mexican Lager and the Pilsner enjoyed so much we took a eat of 4 to go.

Extremely well run brewery and winery! Some friends and I went yesterday and had a magnificent time. Tried every single one of their beers and a number of their wines. And we were blown away by everything. The Hefeweizen and the Caramel Coffee Stout were my favorites. As far as wine, the 1007 wine and the Chilean Malbec were my favorites as well. Pro tip: if anyone in your party doesn't drink but still wants to hang out, the manager made a killer virgin frozen Pina colada. My wife absolutely loved it! They ship their wines anywhere as well so definitely check out their website and support this great winery/brewery. Staff was super nice as well. I highly recommend them and we will definitely be back sooner rather than later. Cheers!
