Unassuming Aussie suburban corner cafe by day, source of delicious Asian street food options by night. Well not quite night, but this was a special Saturday brunch offering.Our eyes went a bit wide at the menu so we ordered a fair bit, spending nearly $50 on the following items: mee poh, $10 well seasoned al dente noodles serve with wonton, fish dumpling, fish ball with roe, bean sprout, pork slice mince top with pork lard, fried garlic spring onion nasi tomato ayam masak merah, $12 chicken satay long stick), $15 for 5 tender chicken marinade in yummy satay spice, skewed grilled, served with rice cube, cucumber onion, plus peanut dipping sauce yellow kueh koo, $5 for 6 variation of the traditional ang koo kueh, with mung bean paste filling ham chim peng 咸煎饼 Cantonese fried dough) $5 for 6We also got gifted some pisang goreng banana fritter) which were selling at $6 for 3.Most customers got the food to go, but we chose to dine in. By dine in, I mean sit in a hot and muggy indoor area under some ceiling fans. Wifey said it had the food smells and the heat gave her all the feels of eating street food in Asia. And the food itself certainly delivered. I liked my nasi tomato with the spicy chicken. Wifey enjoyed her mee poh, saying it had good authenticity. The chicken satays were generalised sized and came with heaps of lovely peanut sauce. The meat itself was a touch dry in places, but overall definitely yummy and I’d happily eat again. The other desserty/snacky items came in small pieces which are good for sampling. Great haul of street food that we ended up enjoying over a couple of meals/days as we couldn’t finish in one go.From what I gather these offerings are fairly new, being progressively introduced since the new owner took over the business a few months ago. Best breakfast burger I've ever had! Great combination of meat and salad!

Tasty ???? burgers ???? best crumb sausages, good food all round.
