Bidrage med feedbackI love that we have a store like this! They have just about everything you wouldn't be able to find at Hannaford or Walmart. There's meatless meats, many different vegan cheeses, vegan boxed mac and cheese, all kinds of different vegenaise, homemade vegan cookies, I could go on! What's also great is they have premade lunches in the fridge including vegan sandwiches with tempeh and vegenaise, dumplings, and noodle salads.
This health food store is amazing and has everything you can imagine; Vegan baked goods, freshly made pizzas and beauty products. Every time I'm up on the coast I go here for organic vegetables and all my last minute vegan needs. The staff is also wicked friendly! : Updated from previous review on Friday July 05, 2013
Clearly marked vegan sandwich and salat options in the first refrigerator they pass while they enter the load. my favorites are the tofu banh mi (smoke, tasteful, filling) and the fakin ' blt (also tasty.) the selection varies and changes in the run of time (I am hopeful that the Tempeh reubs will look again) but it always seems to be a lot of salat options (gras, nudel, pasta). go on to bakery (again on the left side,) and there are in the rule at least a few vegan options. in the corner of the load there is a vegan cooler where they sell vegan 'dairy' products cheese, yogurt, milk, etc. and vegetable products. plus many vegan snacks (including chocolate) blown throughout the business.
Good rotation has a large focus on local products. they have prepared vegan options that are clearly marked, but there is no large amount. they have marked snack foods and prepared foods, and a really great selection of vegan cheese products. they also only expanded their vegan beer and wine selection! the café area is cozy and cute, and the staff is always friendly and knowledgeable. if they are in the opposite, it is worth stopping!
3 stars for vegan selection, 4 stars for quality and portion. we took the vegan black bohnenburger for an evening meal on the go, that was the only cafe-made vegan to-go option. there were other vegetarian options that contained milk and eggs. the vegan burgers were delicious, the sandwiches were quite plentiful, and on locally made multi-grain bread. the vegan cookies were so tempting, but the sandwiches were so big that we couldn't even have a bite. there were no other vegan options in the selection of other baked. I would definitely try again for another takeaway café menu if by the opposite, though I choose a backup plan if there is no or not enough vegan.
